Stocking full of Cole

Here is my nephew Cole. He is one of the most amazing soccer players I have seen at his age and you know, I was a talent scout for MLS in a former life. Also, he likes to ride Pa Pa's tractor when he is visiting. That's if Pa Pa can find his tractor without his glasses.


Here he is taking on zombie mummies with reckless abandon in defense of home and hearth. Thanks, little tike, we owe you one!

Mrs. Pregnant USA

A finalist in tonight's event, Mrs. Pregnant Alabama is really glowing tonight, Bill. That's right Ted, she's in the home stretch and is really flaunting it! The competition is fierce, though, so she will have to do her best to have a shot at the crown. Let's meet them now:



Mrs Pregnant Michigan is in the middle of the bulging belly-fest and she is large and in charge. The weathered look on her face comes from being pregnant and raising a two year old. But don't count her out yet Ted, because endurance and long-suffering are two categories these lovely ladies will be competing in and Mrs. Michigan will see high marks from our judges tonight.

Mrs. Pregnant Georgia hails from Newnan and has been described as "a toothpick with an olive." However, Mrs. Pregnant Georgia is modest and refers to herself as "a cow." She loves video games and cooking (which score well with our male judges) and handles little feet sticking into her ribs with the grace and composure seconded only by those who have accidently set their eyebrows on fire. (This is neither the time nor the place for me to go into detail about this gem of a story in my life).

Keep tuned in to see the drama unfold as Bill and Ted take you into bizzaro world, packed with tense waddling races and sychronized breathing skits. It won't be long before you are wondering how many "Honey can you do this for me/get that for me/bend over and pick up that/" you can say in a minute.

Diet Competition: 12 Weeks of Sugar-Free Torture

My old man and I are in a diet competition against each other. Twice a week weigh-ins and daily consumption reports. Its like telling the enemy your location and the disposition of your arsenal. He has the leg up on me in the exercising daily category, but I'm a scrappy mother so watch for me to come from behind ( and take out dad's knees so he can't exercise anymore!)

Excellent Æbelskivers

My sister-in-law makes Æbelskivers. I would put a link to Wikipedia about these yummy breakfast morsels, but there is no article made about Æbelskivers. I have a new mission in life. Get an account with Wikipedia and post an article about Æbelskivers. The picture is of a pan used to cook them. Basically it makes sweet pancake balls and reportedly some put apple slivers in them.

Update: I found the correctest spelling of Æbelskivers and a link to the wiki article about them.

As Webelos leader, I am privy to the antics of some of the craziest boys this side of the Macon-Dixon line. But I do get to do some pretty cool stuff with the Scouts, like making this fountain of Diet Coke. Mentos and Diet Coke and a PVC pipe contraption that I had built especially for this experiment.

Zoom Zoom in Dallas

I should call my ride Pepe, because it definitely had some pep. In record time, I managed to get lost all over Dallas in this road rippin' ride. Oh, and this is on the TI (Texas Instruments) campus. By the way, Bennigan's is said to have the best ribs in Dallas (this from a server from Saltgrass Steak House in Dallas). Just don't try to show up after 9pm. They are closed.



So I had to go back to Saltgrass for the third meal there in two days! Don't tell anybody, but L.W. totally hooked me up with some sweet gear while we worked together. I scored an ultra top secret product that TI will be releasing in 2007 (just kidding its available now for $20)

Finally my beautiful wife let me post a picture of her on the web. She is sooo gorgeous! I love this woman! The balloons in the back are from a surprise baby shower her 6th grade class threw for her. Jessie and Michael threw a wedding together in one week. Catering, photography, friends, and family all joined in the joyous celebration.
