Viva Las Vegas (and Brazil)

Alaina is contemplating a road trip to Las Vegas to showcase her routine. The belly may be an obstacle in her glory road. She's also heading to Brazil soon. Totally jealous over here.

My Trial By Ice Cream

Tuesday was single-handedly the hardest day of my life diet. It was my mother-in-law's birthday (but thats not the hard part!) We all went on a very nice picnic and while they chomped down on whoppers from Burger Serf, I found some irrestible bark to gnawl on (but thats not the hard part!). What follows in my narrative is a harrowing tale of a tormented soul. The faint of heart should close one eye before continuing to read.

We stopped at Brusters to get Ice Cream. So many choices, flavors, aromas. Mom and Dad ordered two huge carmel cashew waffle cones. I was salivating from the parotid, the submandibular and the sublingual glands. All I had to do was speak the words, "I'll have one of those too" and my torture would end. But alas, my will was truly more powerful than the spare tire I've been carrying around for oh so long. By the way, I weighed in this morning ...

191 pounds down from 207 (I round up like a cowboy!)

Each Black Tile Worth $88.89?!

So we asked for a quote from our contractor about putting the black tiles into our foyer. He said it would cost $800 for what you see in the picture (plus two more black tiles to the left). So, did we pay that ridiculous price ($88.89 per black tile)? Nope, and we got emails telling our contractor we didn't want it. Looks like they put it in anyways. Gee, that was nice of them. I'm sure they will be looking for that dough when closing costs comes, yet all they will get is a nice framed copy of an email.

Last week she posted a BUY IT NOW for her bows on Ebay. If you can think of anyone who needs any cute bows for their girls or as gifts, please let them know about this website. Thanks!

And Then There was Two

In a surprise move that stunned countless thousands, Mrs. Georgia removed herself from further competition in the Mrs. Pregnant USA contest. At 1:19 am, she announced her withdrawl officially. Coincidentally, 1:19 am marked another "withdrawl" as baby Isabella (Mae or May) was born 7 pounds 5 ounces and 18 and a half inches long. Updates on the correct spelling of her middle name and Ex- Mrs. Georgia's take on the whole situation are forthcoming ...

Stocking full of Cole

Here is my nephew Cole. He is one of the most amazing soccer players I have seen at his age and you know, I was a talent scout for MLS in a former life. Also, he likes to ride Pa Pa's tractor when he is visiting. That's if Pa Pa can find his tractor without his glasses.

Here he is taking on zombie mummies with reckless abandon in defense of home and hearth. Thanks, little tike, we owe you one!
